These buses were a lot of fun to do. They ran as shuttle buses during EXPO 86 between the various parking lots around the city and the Vancouver EXPO Site in what is now known as Yaletown. The graphics were done by cutting the design out of paint mask stencil and then spraying the various colors required out of Lacquer Based Automotive Paints. The paint mask was then pulled off from the surrounding area. This step had to be done for each color in the particular graphic.
