Project Overview
Jeff and Matt spearheaded the creation of an interior reverse acrylic sign for the newly launched Provincial School Outreach program in December of 2023. The sign, meticulously designed and crafted by our team, exudes professionalism and stands as a welcoming beacon for visitors and staff alike.
Building Strong Local Relationships
Our partnership with the District of North Vancouver has been a cornerstone of our work. Having contributed extensively to the district’s signage needs, we maintain a strong rapport with the local municipality, which reflects in the seamless execution of our projects.
The BC Provincial School Outreach Program
The Provincial School Outreach program, supported by the Government of British Columbia and hosted by the North Vancouver School District, serves as a multidisciplinary team of specialists. They provide invaluable in-person and virtual support to school districts across the province.
The program’s aim is to bridge the gap in services, especially in rural and remote regions, by offering case consultations, professional development sessions, and connecting school personnel to regional resources and services. As part of its expansion, the team is incorporating specialists such as school psychologists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and more.
Key Program Objectives:
- Prioritizing services in underserved regions
- Offering consultation for learners’ needs
- Providing in-person outreach for districts lacking specialist personnel
- Building a province-wide support network
BC Network for Positive Behavioural Interventions and Supports (PBIS): The Provincial School Outreach also serves as the hub for PBIS in British Columbia, fostering awareness of the framework’s benefits, expanding its implementation in schools, and facilitating training and resource sharing.
